Caroline has worked in the settlement sector in Winnipeg Manitoba over the years and has vast experience dealing with newcomers to Canada. Temporary Visa
Temporary visas allow entry into Canada for a specific period of time. Each temporary option has different eligibility criteria. Temporary visa options include the following:
Visitors Visa – Depending on your Citizenship, you may either require a temporary resident visa
(TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). You can apply for either of the following.
- SINGLE ENTRY VISA
- MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA
- TRANSIT VISA
Permanent Options
Permanent Immigration options allows foreign nationals to live in Canada permanently.
Express Entry – Express Entry is a point based system that is designed to select skilled workers to immigrate to Canada. The system awards points based on age, language, education, work experience and adaptability. Programs managed under the express entry system are:
- FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER
- FEDERAL SKILLED TRADE
- CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS
Provincial Nominee Programs – The Provincial Nominee program allows each province in Canada to strengthen their economy through Immigration. The program allows the province to invite prospective immigrants to live and work in the provinces selected and it also provides pathways for International students in the province to apply for permanent residency.
Family Sponsorships – Family unification is one of the three pillars of Canadian Immigration. This allows permanent residents and Canadian citizens to be united with their family members. Family sponsorship options include the following:
- SPOUSAL/COMMON LAW AND DEPENDENT CHILDREN SPONSORSHIPS
- PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS SPONSORSHIPS
- OTHER ELIGIBLE RELATIVE’S SPONSORSHIPS
